Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled plant-based/vegetarian chef to join the retreat team. The ideal candidate will have experience cooking for groups of 10+ people and a strong understanding of creating nutritious, balanced vegetarian / plant based meals that support health and well-being. Responsibilities include:
• Shopping for the food.
• Preparing breakfast, brunch, lunch, desserts, and dinners.
• Designing a menu that aligns with the retreat’s holistic focus
• Catering to diverse dietary needs and restrictions
• Ensuring meals are beautifully presented and buffet-style for self-service
Requirements:
• Professional experience as a chef, preferably in wellness or retreat settings
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Local to Essaouira (accommodation is not provided)
• Fluent in English (French or Arabic is a plus)
