Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse works under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, or their designee, in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the nursing department and established professional standards. Provides total nursing care to patients of all ages, newborn through geriatrics. Effectively interacts with patients and healthcare members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plans, provides, and evaluates patient care as a member of the health care team, strictly adhering to principals of asepsis and infection control guidelines when performing patient care. Assesses individual patient learning needs, and institutes teaching methods in preparation for discharge.
