This person must live in the state of Michigan. Orientation to both Outpatient and Inpatient/Inhouse Screening is required for this position.
Responsibilities include obtaining a comprehensive health history via phone interview for all patients requiring Anesthesia for scheduled procedures. Interprets need for and obtains necessary documentation of peri-operative testing. Up to date computer skills to allow for extensive documentation in the EPIC Electronic Health Record, communication to physicians/staff via Phone, Email and Fax. Consultation with Anesthesiologist Staff for case review may be necessary for completion prior to day of procedure. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
