Job Description
The Clinical Nurse II (CN II -registered nurse) possesses the professional attributes of the Clinical Nurse I. The registered nurse has achieved a fully integrated nursing role and performs consistently with minimal supervision and guidance in the major areas of nursing practice. The CN II anticipates and identifies problems and collaboratively plans for their resolution by utilizing appropriate resources; demonstrates expanded skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and possesses some components of professional achievement. The CN II directs all aspects of clinical care assigned to other nursing caregivers and service providers and is an active member on unit/ hospital patient care related committees or unit support project.
The RN incorporates the principles of the ANCC Synergy Model for patient care to drive nursing practice, resulting in optimum outcomes for the patient.
