Emergency Room Nurse - Days 7a-7p
An Emergency Room (ER) Nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues, determine severity, and provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects and, if necessary, sustain life. As one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room, the ER nurse plays a critical role in delivering rapid and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room.
- Provide immediate medical care to stabilize patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
- Educate patients and their families on treatments and procedures.
