Description: This position involves rapid response nursing duties. The unit comprises 24 beds. The staff includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs on the night shift. Patient ratios are 5:1. Typical hiring profile includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Preferred candidates will have GYN/Oncology or Urology experience. Typical procedures performed include post-op assessments and care. Responsible for post prostatectomy care and post hysterectomy care. Pain management including PCA and epidurals will be necessary.
