Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 3x12, Nights
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. The unit is a high-risk OB department with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites. This is a fast-paced environment serving a large regional population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of both mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
- May be required to float to other maternal units such as postpartum and NICU as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety standards.
