Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to assigned patients from newborn to geriatric populations according to the policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing and in compliance with the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act. Functions independently within established department policies and goals, refers problems to the nurse manager or appropriate supervisor, and directs and/or assists with the activities of licensed practical nurses and ancillary nursing personnel.
