This 288-bed acute-care hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Oncology RN to join its Med-Surg Oncology team. The hospital provides comprehensive services including a Cancer Center, Behavioral Health Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Heart & Vascular Center, Stroke Center, and Surgical Services, among others.
The role. Working within a patient-centered care model, the Oncology RN performs comprehensive clinical assessments and manages treatment plans autonomously, analyzing data to determine diagnoses and identify individualized expected outcomes for each patient. The nurse serves as a dedicated advocate for patient safety and care quality within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with colleagues to coordinate effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
