Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care on a medical surgical unit specializing in trauma. The nurse will manage patient care for diverse diagnoses, including trauma from various incidents. Ratios are approximately 1:4-6. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse will be responsible for blood product administration, peripheral line care, and phlebotomy. The role includes starting IVs, managing insulin therapy, and PCA administration.
