Description: The unit consists of 30 beds, including private and semi-private rooms. The goal for nurse-to-patient ratios is 1:4; however, it often runs 1:5 and may occasionally reach 1:6. Charge nurses take a full patient assignment on both day and night shifts. A Clinical Assistant works alongside the nursing staff, with a combination of shifts covering patient care and office responsibilities. Typically, there are 2-3 Certified Nursing Assistants to support patient care with ratios of 1:10-12. Weekend shifts include three-day shifts or three-night shifts based on the schedule. Traveli...
