Job Description:
This position is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) where the RN is responsible for providing direct patient care in a Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to pediatric patients with a patient ratio of 2:1.
- Perform typical procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
- Work in collaboration with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other support staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience.
- BLS & PALS certification.
- Preferred skills include CRRT experience, APHON, and teaching hospital experience.
