Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Cardiac)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
Weekend hours: Every other weekend
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit specializing in Cardiac care. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population of generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to the elderly.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Assist with pre and post-care for cardiac catheterizations (both groin and radial).
- Document patient information in the Cerner electronic health record system.
