About the Role:
As a Roadside Recovery Mechanic, you’ll attend vehicle breakdowns across the Bradford area, carrying out effective on-site repairs to ensure buses can safely return to the depot. This is a key role within the engineering team, helping to keep services running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out repairs or temporary fixes
* Diagnose faults using appropriate tools and techniques
* Drive a company vehicle to breakdown locations
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Accurately complete breakdown reports and documentation
* Collect parts from stores when required
* Support the engineering team with additional duties as needed
About You:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Basic mechanical knowledge or qualifications (e.g. SVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
