Roadside Technician – Overview
Do you have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent, at least 2 years of experience in technical, electrical, and diagnostic roles, and a full UK driving licence? Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and help keep the UK moving.
- A market‑competitive base salary of £41,600 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance), and a realistic on‑target earnings of £66,000.
- Flexible demand‑led shifts, averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime.
- Work in the Barnet cluster, covering areas such as Barnet, Finchley, Totteridge, Whetstone, Hendon, and Golders Green – start and finish each day at home.
- Your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit are all provided.
