A top Mining Company based in the North West Province, has a great opportunity for a Rock Engineer. The Senior Rock Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Resource Leader: Rock Engineer with managing the Rock Engineering function and strata control issues at the shafts. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
•Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related field
•Certificate in Rock Mechanics (Metalliferous)
•Rock Engineering experience at strata control / senior rock engineer level
•Medically fit
•5 - 8 years’ experience with deep level mining
•Experience with tubular hard rock mining
