- Inspect and prepare steel surfaces: degrease, grit blast to Sa 2.5 / Sa 3, and verify surface profile before lining.
- Cut, fit and install cold bond or hot vulcanized rubber lining sheets to chutes, hoppers, launders, and pipes per engineering drawings.
- Apply adhesives, primers, and bonding agents following manufacturer specifications and cure times.
- Use skiving tools, rollers, and presses to ensure full contact and eliminate air pockets.
- Perform hot vulcanization: operate autoclaves, heating blankets, and temperature controls safely.
