Job Summary
The Field Health & Safety Coordinator – Construction supports safe field operations across Ontario by implementing and monitoring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WSIB, and company safety standards. The role provides on-site and remote support to field crews, ensuring that all safety programs are effectively executed and continuously improved.
Responsibilities
- Guide the business to take all precautions reasonable for the protection of the worker.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture with emphasis on the internal responsibility system (IRS).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety legislation.
- Coach all levels of the organization to implement health and safety processes into daily activities.
