Summary About the Position: Interprets regulations, standards, procedures, methods, and techniques applicable to a broad range of safety and occupational health duties that include industrial hazards and transport of hazardous materials including ammunition and explosives. Reviews proposed or new regulations, SOPs, etc., for integration of risk management and safety requirements to mitigate accidents into the process. Responsibilities Prepares and conducts briefings, meetings, training classes, and associated functions Prepares and distributes safety promotional and informative materials to maintain safety awareness. Leads or participates in interdisciplinary working groups to support local initiatives, resolves safety related issues, or develops strategies for improving safety performance.
