Job Description
Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
- Keep abreast of Environmental Management Bureau’s requirements on pollution control.
- Monitors compliance to the requirements specified in the Environmental Compliance Certificate and the commitments stipulated in the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.
- Review of chemical contents to be used in production prior to use of regulated/controlled chemicals under DENR-PDEA, PNP and DENR-EMB, especially those listed under the Priority Chemicals List (PCL), Chemical Control Orders (CCO) and Small Quantity Importation (SQI).
- Attends necessary environmental permitting/licensing requirements of different government agencies such as DENR-EMB, PDEA and PEZA.
- Monitor the generation and disposal of used residual and other hazardous waste, keep records/document of disposal, manifest form and other related supporting documents.
