Job Description
- The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personal safety.
- The Safety Officer ensures that the site Safety & Health Plan is prepared and implemented.
- The Safety Officer creates and implements health and safety policies in accordance with the latest legislation and to ensure that these policies are implemented by management and employees.
- Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying with, and enforcing the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.
- Compliance with occupational safety and health policy, reporting any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace, and ensuring safety practices are adhered to.
