Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated Safety Officer to join our Backfill Project team within an open cast coal mining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture while ensuring full compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and mining legislation.
The role requires a proactive individual capable of working closely with operational teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in safety performance across the project.
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), client requirements, site procedures, and company safety standards.
