Job Description
Responsibilities: Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, regulations, and company safety policies. Advise management and site personnel on safety requirements and best practices. Prepare, review, and maintain safety documentation, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and inspection reports. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for workers and supervisors. Monitor workers' compliance with safety rules and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters. Follow up on safety observations, corrective actions, and statutory requirements.
