Responsible for promoting health and safety compliance on project sites for a leading sustainable real estate developer.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting positive health and maintaining a safe working environment on the project site
- Overseeing project site activities to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and company policies
- Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs aligned with government and company standards
- Maintaining injury/illness mishap data, analyzing reports, and initiating actions to improve safety programs
- Implementing preventative measures and maintaining building safety standards
- Creating and implementing safety policies and training in fire safety procedures
- Facilitating compliance with construction occupational health and safety (COSH) guidelines
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations
