Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, procedures and programs in compliance with Philippine labor and safety laws.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification at the construction site.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation, reports and records required by regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors on safety concerns.
- Promote a culture of safety and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
