Job Summary
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing workplace safety policies incompliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety training to minimize workplace hazards and incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures in line with Ministry of Manpower Singapore regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WSH Act, subsidiary legislation, and company safety standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
