Job Description
**Job Overview:**
This position reports to the corporate Health, Safety, and Environment Manager in support of APTIM nuclear decommissioning work in Los Alamos, New Mexico and company-wide. Safety personnel are a part of a multi-disciplined team supporting our projects and will be primarily focused on supporting and managing safety activities on site.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ The Safety Professional will be responsible for the implementation of HSE policies and procedures
+ Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards
+ HSE surveys and audits, maintain HSE documentation
+ Collect and analyze HSE metrics
+ Conduct accident investigations, participate in the safety committee.
+ Provide safety field oversight of production personnel involved in radiological and RCRA D&D activities.
