Role Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist will support the Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety programs for the Thacker Pass Project (TPP). The role involves promoting a strong safety culture across site operations, coordinating safety audits, inspections, training, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with MSHA and OSHA regulatory requirements. The position is based at the Winnemucca, NV office during construction and transition to the Thacker Pass Project, and will report to the Safety Manager. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Safety Manager to develop and implement effective safety programs for the Thacker Pass Project and coordinate daily Health and Safety (H&S) activities.
