Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed GP to joinour experienced and dedicated team. Theideal candidate will work on a Wednesday and Thursday with one day beingon-call. We are a well-established Practice situated in Leyland, Preston witheasy access to the motorway. The teamhas an established skill mix whereby the GPs and nursing team work closelytogether to provide first-rate patient access.The Practice is part of an excellent, proactive Primary Care Networkwith other local practices.
Main duties of the job
Salaried GP supporting the GP partner to provide firstclass patient care
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe and manage treatment plans
Co-ordinate with specialist and community teams
Promote screening and preventative care
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
2 sessions a week on a Thursday
