Salaried GP – near South Shields (4 Sessions per Week)
We are seeking a motivated and committed Salaried GP to join our well-established practice near South Shields, working across two nearby sites within a large and supportive primary care organisation with multiple practices across the North East.
The Role
- 4 sessions per week (Monday & Wednesday or Friday)
- List size of circa 7,500 patients
- Single practice team working across two buildings – same patients, same staff, cohesive working environment
- One on-call day and one standard clinical day per week
Clinical Responsibilities
- Up to 25 patient contacts per standard clinic day (face-to-face and telephone)
- Protected time allocated for administration and referrals
- Home visits typically managed by experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), with GP involvement where clinically appropriate
