Responsibilities
- Meets with customers to drive product sales.
- Follow and consistently achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales.
- Work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Attracting new customers, communicating with prospects on the phone or face-to-face and advising clients how to match various furniture items.
- Keeping track of inventory levels to ensure there is enough supply to meet demand
- Providing customers with product knowledge and answering questions regarding pricing, delivery details, or repair services
- Presenting mock living room or bedroom setups in the store to help potential buyers envision how items will look in their own home
