Job Description
Position summary statement: The Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales/Asst Dir of Sales in driving revenue growth for the hotel through the development of MICE and corporate business opportunities to achieve the budget target set. This role has a function reporting line to Director of Catering Sales.
This role is responsible for developing and expanding the MICE and an assigned corporate client base through proactive sales activities, strategic account management, and relationship building while ensuring a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
The role also includes negotiating corporate and group rates, managing rate loading and account production, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy set by Management.
