The client is a legal services firm that has built a proprietary CRM platform called Briefcase, which runs entirely on Salesforce. Briefcase is the primary application used by lawyers and paralegals to manage cases from intake through resolution.
The company has evaluated two third-party AI tools for integration with Briefcase and determined that neither provides sufficient value for the cost. Leadership has decided to pursue a fully internal AI development initiative, customized to the firm's specific workflows and case management processes.
The goal of the AI initiative is to reduce the administrative burden on attorneys, allowing them to stay focused on casework rather than day-to-day operational tasks. The hire being sought will lead this effort from requirements gathering through implementation planning.
