Job Description
SMX is seeking a **SAN Administrator** . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation and Maintenance of multiple Storage Area networks. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Storage Area Network (SAN) administration
+ Document processes, procedures, upgrades and problems.
+ Upgrade software, monitor performance and evaluate trends and needs.
+ Manage, transform and provide user access to large datasets. Install, configure, support and maintain storage area networks and associated technology.
+ All SAN connection VIA Fiber Currently maintaining ten different SAN
+ Enterprise Backup Administration
+ Monitor backup jobs across multiple platforms.
+ Perform routine disaster recovery scenarios.
+ Maintain backup policies and standards, including overseeing legal hold retention policies.
