I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an EPC on two UK solar farms as a specialist SCADA engineer, where you will act as an expert on SCADA & data acquisition as the sites are due to enter construction. Office space is based in Manchester, however you will primarily work between home and visits to the two sites, one in North East England and the other in South Wales.
Role responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert on SCADA & data acquisition, along with wider EMS, BESS etc integration
- Develop standards & functional specifications for SCADA, EMS, IT/OT & cybersecurity & their wider integration
- Maintain a presence on site for FAT/SAT/commissioning activities when required
- Liaise with other engineering areas to deliver projects efficiently and on time
