Scale House Clerk

A Day in the life:

A Scale Clerk is responsible for in-person customer service interactions related to inbound/outbound scale truck traffic. This position is responsible for providing professional and excellent customer service. Responsible for safely and accurately executing detailed system transactions including but not limited to recording accurate truck weights for legal sale/purchase contracts for bulk commodity products (soybeans, soybean meal, soybean hull pellets and vegetable oil) and collecting payments for COD contracts before the product is loaded. Responsible or analyzing and resolving customer and contract load inaccuracies before the customer is permitted to exit the scale area.
