Position Overview
Reporting to the Quality & Scaling Supervisor, the Scaling & Quality Coordinator will be responsible for the accurate measurement and reporting of log quality and volumes delivered to the sawmill.
Responsibilities
- Ensure application of the highest Safety & Environmental standards to achieve superior results.
- Carry out a contractor-specific, random sampling program to measure volume and quality of fibre delivered to the mill.
- Maintain the volume conversion factors for each log supplier to ensure ongoing, accurate volume measurement by contractor and by procurement area through sampling.
