Scenic Artist Job Description
Essential:
- Experienced Artist working in Scenic Painting, Automotive Painting, Fiberglass, Cement Rock Carving, and/or Surface Texturing.
- 2+ years’ experience in an Art Department building Theme parks, movies, or show sets · Hands on installation experience a plus
- Has experience in creative manufacturing either painting or sculpting
- Has positive attitude and willing to do what it takes to get the job done according to standards and keeping within the allotted time.
- Able to follow instructions · Able to communicate ideas and not afraid to ask questions. · Has motivation and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Proven ability in troubleshooting, Problem solving skills.
- Able to adhere to strict timelines.
- Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
- Ability to understand line drawings and schematics.
- Willing to work nightshift
