About the Opportunity
John Paul College is currently seeking an experienced and qualified School Counsellor to join our Secondary Student Wellbeing team until the end of Term 4, 2026 with a possible extension.
The Secondary School Counsellor provides personal counselling to students in a manner that is reflective of the College’s core values and College’s Christian Ecumenical ethos. The Counsellor will provide support to students to enable them to reach their full potential – academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will see themselves working in collaboration with the students, teachers, academic welfare, and counselling teams at JPC to encourage and promote student wellbeing at the College.
This role is a specialist part-time position working term-time only, with normal working hours of Mondays and Thursdays, 8am – 4.15pm.
