Overview
School housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment for students, teachers, and visitors. They ensure that classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas are kept sanitary and orderly to support the daily operations of the school.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other school facilities according to established cleaning schedules
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
- Empty trash cans and properly dispose of waste
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Clean windows, doors, and walls as required
- Ensure restrooms are stocked and maintained in hygienic condition
