STEMCELL Technologies, Canada's largest biotechnology company, is seeking a Scientist to join the Process Development (PAD) Biologics Upstream team. The role supports both cGMP and research-use-only manufacturing and focuses on optimizing and scaling innovative protein production processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead technical aspects of departmental and cross‑functional projects, including planning, goal setting, and execution.
- Lead and execute development batches—design, risk assessment, development, and transfer of safe, efficient, and robust processes.
- Analyze experimental data, draw clear conclusions, present findings to cross‑functional teams, and develop and transfer SOPs into manufacturing.
- Lead and participate in non‑conformance root‑cause investigations, supporting the execution of corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).
