We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join a newly awarded research project focused on fabricating atomically precise dopant-based quantum devices. This project aims to develop atomic-scale quantum devices for applications in spin-based quantum sensing and computing. You will be part of the National Quantum Federated Foundry at IMRE, working at the forefront of developing and advancing quantum hardware technology.
Key Responsibilities- Design and fabricate surface chemistry based atomic-precision quantum devices on semiconductor substrates.
- Develop and optimize UHV-based fabrication processes, including:
- Atomic-precision lithography
- High-quality semiconductor crystal growth (using MBE/CVD)
- Establish and refine cleanroom process recipes for:
- Optical/electron-beam lithography
- Plasma etching
