SCPHN Health Visitor Apprenticeship

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust offers an opportunity for dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Nurses and Midwives who want to progress their career in public health nursing. This apprenticeship will empower families by delivering the Healthy Child Programme and improving outcomes for our local population.
This is a 13‑month apprenticeship programme that combines 50% taught theory and 50% practical experience. Successful completion leads to a PGDip/BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Degree in Health Visiting.
Upon successful completion of the SCPHN qualification, students will be offered an interview for a substantive Health Visitor post should one be available within North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust.
