The Security Guard Site Supervisor is responsible for a team of around 30 security personnel, made up of four Section Leaders and 20+ indirect reports whose role is to ensure the provision of high quality and effective security and protective services in a high security environment. This is a high-functioning role primarily providing day to day operational oversight of the security guard force and management of a 24/7 roster. Devonport Naval Base is a large, busy, and dynamic site requiring a leader with a depth of well-rounded security experience and exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing NZDF systems and ensuring SOPs are in place to recognise, report on, and take appropriate action.
* Monitoring of; unauthorised access, persons, information risks, and risks to building security.
* Reporting on security incidents and breaches.
