Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Security Officer/Parking Enforcement for the Division of Public Safety. Under the immediate direction of a Security Supervisor, or other University Police personnel as directed.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Performs a wide variety of security and parking functions to ensure the safety of persons, protect property, maintain order and enforce the rules and regulations of the University.Dependent upon assignment, observes, recognizes and reports conditions that adversely affect public safety or University policy.Issues written Security Failure Notices and University Parking Summonses.Safeguards the life, property and well being of all members and guests of the University community.Provides assistance regarding directions, emergencies and special requests.Controls vehicular and pedestrian ...
