Overview
Aspire People are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school located in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will predominantly be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour. The role requires a high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Create a safe learning environment for pupils
- De‑escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships
