Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health? Simply Education are currently looking for experienced and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to work at our clients primary/secondary school in the Halewood area.
What you will be doing:
- Establishing good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
- Provide consistent support to all pupils, responding appropriately to individual pupil needs and including the use of accredited Positive Handling techniques when necessary.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
- Provide minimal clerical/administration support (e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, etc).
