Role:SEN Teaching assistant
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Overview We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school setting. The role involves working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure students receive tailored support that enables them to access the curriculum and make progress.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties.
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
Support pupils with classroom activities, ensuring they remain engaged and on task.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
