Joint MDSA and SEND Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term Contract to 31 August 2027
30 hours per week (combined)

About the roles: 

MDSA:

  • 7.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Term time only, paid for 44.6 weeks per year
  • Pay scale: MAT-A - SCP 3 £24,796 pro rata
  • Actual starting salary £4,299 per year

    • Teaching Assistant:

  • 22.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Term time only plus 2 insets, paid for 45.2 weeks per year
  • Pay scale MAT-C - SCP5-6 £25,583– £25,989 pro rata
  • Actual starting salary £13,486 per year
