Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for SEND students at a college based in Aston.
The hours 08:30-15:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive each week.
This role is ongoing. Immediate starts.
Must be an experienced TA to work alongside complex needs students.
Responsibilities
* Working with SEND students aged 14-25 and (some) will need personal hygiene support. The students level of ability range from complex needs to Level 2 functional skills.
* 2:1 support (although non-behaviour) offering high level of support in order to achieve high outcomes for the students
* Must be proactive and energetic
Qualifications
* Minimum level 2 education and 1 year’s similar experience
* Enhanced children and adult DBS on the update service
* A caring and empathetic nature towards individuals requiring support
